The Hong Kong government's Working Group on Developing Tourist Hotspots is implementing nine projects designed to enhance the city's tourism offerings:

Hong Kong Industrial Brand Tourism: Collaborations are underway to promote "Made in Hong Kong" brands like Lee Kum Kee and Yakult through industrial tourism. Visitors will be able to tour, engage with, and purchase products from these local brands. A trial launch is expected in Q3 of this year.

Victoria Park Bazaar: A bazaar with approximately 30 stalls will be set up at Victoria Park on Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays. It will feature cultural, creative, and handmade crafts. Themed activities will be organized throughout the year to create a vibrant arts fair atmosphere. Launch is planned for Q4 of this year.

Pink Trumpet Tree Garden: Pink trumpet trees and flowering shrubs will be planted near the Tamar Park harbourfront to create a colorful and attractive viewing area. Planting is expected to be completed by the end of this year.

In-depth travel in Old Town Central: The Hong Kong Tourism Board (HKTB) is working with HKwalls to incorporate artwork by local and international artists into the Central and Western District. The Central to Mid-Levels Escalator will be beautified, and technology will guide visitors through the area's alleys and streets. The HKTB will also create itineraries that highlight arts, culture, historical architecture, and dining experiences. The escalator beautification should be done by the end of the year.

In-depth travel in Kowloon City: Building on the "Kowloon Walled City: A Cinematic Journey" exhibition, efforts will be made to extend tourist experiences in Kowloon City through culinary offerings and smart travel solutions. The "City in Time AR" project will be expanded to allow tourists to experience the history of Kowloon City, including the Walled City and Kai Tak Airport.

Disciplinary Services Pioneer Tours: Museums such as the Police Museum and the Fire and Ambulance Services Education Centre and Museum will collaborate with the tourism sector to develop tourism products. These are expected to launch in Q2 of this year. Thematic routes related to disciplinary services will be promoted to overseas tourists, and displays and exhibitions will be enhanced.

Opening of the Former Yau Ma Tei Police Station: The ground floor of the former Yau Ma Tei Police Station will be opened to the public in Q4 of this year. It will feature a replica report room, cellblocks, augmented reality photo booths, classic crime movie screenings, a memory wall, and souvenir sales. The police station will eventually house the police museum.

"Four Peaks" Tourism: Green tourism will be developed around four peaks: the Peak, Lantau Peak, Sai Kung Hoi, and Tai Mo Shan. Hiking trail facilities will be improved with better signage and information boards, and connections to nearby tourist spots will be enhanced.

Revitalizing the Former Hung Hom Railway Freight Yard Pier: The former Hung Hom Railway Freight Yard Pier will be transformed into a space for activities with views of Victoria Harbour. Basic beautification work will begin, and proposals from operators will be invited, with the aim of opening it to the public in Q1 2026.
