The 15th National Games, set to take place from November 9 to 21, will see its first batch of tickets go on sale today at 10 a.m. Residents across Guangdong, Hong Kong, and Macau can purchase tickets through a unified official platform, with prices in RMB ranging from 30 to 800 yuan. The initial release covers 17 events, including 13 in the Guangdong region and four in Hong Kong, featuring sports such as football, basketball, gymnastics, and shooting.

The organizing committee announced that the ticketing system requires real-name registration for all purchases. Users must create an account on the official online platform before selecting event locations, sports, dates, and sessions. The platform supports tickets for events in different regions, making it seamless for cross-border buyers.

Payment options include Alipay, WeChat Pay, UnionPay cards, digital RMB, and Visa/Mastercard credit cards. For Hong Kong residents, tickets to local events require a Hong Kong ID card. Hong Kong venue tickets will be sold as "half-day passes" or "full-day passes," allowing holders to watch multiple matches at the same venue during the specified period and re-enter freely. Each online order for Hong Kong events is limited to six tickets, with each valid ID restricted to one ticket per session.

In addition to online sales, physical tickets for Hong Kong events can be bought at 11 designated outlets operated by Hong Kong China Travel Service (CTS). These locations span Hong Kong Island (Wan Chai, Causeway Bay, and Taikoo Shing branches), Kowloon (West Kowloon High-Speed Rail Station, Kwun Tong Crocodile Centre, and Mong Kok Bank Centre branches), and the New Territories (Tai Po, Tseung Kwan O East Point City, Sha Tin, Tuen Mun Town Plaza, and Tsuen Wan Luk Yeung Galleria branches). No prior online registration is needed for in-person purchases, and tickets will be converted to HKD at a fixed exchange rate. Hong Kong residents must use their ID cards, while mainland Chinese and Macau residents need their Mainland Travel Permits for Hong Kong and Macau or Macau ID cards, respectively.

All tickets mandate real-name verification. Online buyers can opt for e-tickets or mailed paper tickets, but once e-tickets are selected, the delivery method cannot be changed. Each ID is limited to one ticket per session. E-tickets can be transferred once via the official platform up to 24 hours before the event, while paper tickets require in-person handling at CTS outlets at least seven days in advance.

The first batch focuses on four Hong Kong events from the 15th National Games: beach volleyball, men's handball, men's basketball (under-22 group), and sevens rugby, alongside the 13 Guangdong-based events. Public access is available through the official ticketing website or by searching "15th National Games Official Ticketing" on WeChat Mini Programs.

For Hong Kong residents buying Guangdong events, a Mainland Travel Permit for Hong Kong and Macau Residents is required. Orders are capped at six tickets per session generally, but popular events may limit this to three per order.

Remaining Hong Kong tickets for eight 15th National Games events—including track cycling, golf, triathlon, and fencing—and three events from the 12th National Games for the Disabled and 9th Special Olympics (boccia, wheelchair fencing, and table tennis TT11 category) will be released in phases starting late September and early October, aligned with competition schedules.

The organizing office emphasized that both online and offline sales for the Hong Kong batch will commence simultaneously today at 10 a.m. Offline buyers must provide personal details and copies of ID documents for all attendees to comply with real-name policies.
