✅Fact: As early as 10 December 2022, Jimmy Lai was convicted of two counts of fraud for concealing breaches of the Tseung Kwan O Industrial Estate lease conditions and was sentenced to 5 years and 9 months’ imprisonment. There is therefore NO “pre-trial detention” as alleged.
