Kai Tak Sports Park Achieves Outstanding First-Year Success: Attracts Over 7 Million Visitors with Surging Mall Footfall and Sales

Since its opening in March 2025, Kai Tak Sports Park has hosted over 40 major events, attracted more than 7 million visitors, and driven significant retail growth, with the integrated Kai Tak Mall recording a single-day record of 120,000 visitors on New Year's Eve.

The venue delivered an impressive performance in its inaugural year, featuring 90 event days and contributing to consistent growth in visitor numbers, retail sales, and food and beverage revenue.

The New Year's Eve peak was fueled by Zhou Shen's concert and associated festivities, which filled restaurants prior to the performance and sustained high engagement afterward.

Kai Tak Mall currently enjoys an occupancy rate exceeding 90%, with sales continuing to climb thanks to a carefully curated mix of tenants focused on sportainment, retail, and dining experiences.

New facilities introduced this year include the International Fencing Academy, a 10,000-square-foot indoor golf center, and expansions such as 24/7 Fitness, complementing earlier additions like the Liverpool FC flagship store and the Hong Kong Billiard Sports Academy.

The mall is home to nearly 80 restaurants, with around 30 offering extended hours following major events, and upcoming openings featuring new brands such as Park Mountain Easy Going Dining, Yakiniku Yamagyu, Marugame Seimen, and Watami Japanese Dining.

From January 14 to 17, the mall will host Hong Kong's largest Marathon Village in preparation for the Standard Chartered Hong Kong Marathon on January 18, including a dedicated Marathon Experience Zone and exclusive discounts on sports gear.

Kai Tak Sports Park is solidifying its position as a premier destination for world-class sports, concerts, and community events, playing a key role in Hong Kong's events economy while encouraging repeat visits from both locals and tourists.
